Logosynthesis is an integrative, energy-based model being used in psychotherapy, counselling and coaching to support healing and development. It can also be learned for self-coaching. The model supports people in healing traumatic memories, resolving limiting beliefs, relieving fearful fantasies and finding meaning in life. Logosynthesis contains a theoretical model, a basic attitude, principles of effectiveness and concrete interventions or protocols. Logosynthesis offers a simple and powerful technique that can be used routinely to resolve distressing issues. Using the power and intention of words to shift the energy in the underlying sensory, results are immediate and lasting.
Logosynthesis is based on an integration of concepts from many schools of counselling and psychotherapy: psychoanalysis, NLP, hypnotherapy, transactional analysis and energy psychology. Professionals with different backgrounds therefore recognise principles from prior training in the Logosynthesis model. However, the combination of the principles of action and the process are unique and surprising even for professionals.
Logosynthesis is embedded in a coherent, comprehensive view of the human being: Human beings are more than body and psyche. A soul, a higher self, an essence, has always been part of the human experience. This essence gives meaning to our lives. Body and psyche are tools to shape our lives. Many tend to identify with these tools. They believe they are their body, their emotions, their thoughts or their needs. Logosynthesis helps to reconnect with the essence and find a deeper meaning in life.
Dr Willem Lammers, Msc, TSTA, is a psychologist, psychotherapist and coach for individuals and organizations. He is also a supervisor, lecturer and trainer. He has spent many years of his professional career searching for effective models and methods to alleviate suffering and promote development.
In 2005, he discovered the basics of Logosynthesis and created a model based on it, which he has been consistently developing ever since. Dr. Willem Lammers has published several books on Logosynthesis, with translations into various languages, see Books and Articles.
